To ask the Secretary of State for Health when she will announce the name of the new NHS chief executive, and the salary for the post.

My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State hopes to do so shortly. The salary offered is £82,925 plus performance-related pay, but more may be available for a candidate with exceptional qualifications or experience.
