§ Mr. SackvilleThe Government's response—Cm 2018—to the Select Committee report was published in July 1992. Paragraphs 2.12.2, 2.12.3 and 2.205 et seq set out our position on these issues. The Government's response to the Select Committee announced the establishment of an expert committee to review policy on care during child birth. That work was completed in August 1993 with the publication of "Changing Childbirth". Copies of both reports are available in the Library.
