§ Mr. Heathcoat-AmoryIreland, Denmark, Belgium and Germany have notified the Council secretariat that they have completed the necessary procedures for the implementation of the Council decision increasing the958W number of seats in the European Parliament. All other member states have the necessary legislation in hand. They have committed themselves to completing the process in time for the European parliamentary elections in June next year.
