§ Mr. Charles WardleI have seen a copy of an internal document prepared by the Greater Manchester police312W officers who were present in Turkey as part of the normal liaison arrangements which occur when English teams play abroad. It includes many references to individuals which it would not be right to make public.
We have passed on copies of the relevant parts of the report to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. My right hon. Friend the Foreign Secretary has written to the Turkish authorities taking up some of the points which have been raised by those who were detained in and deported from Turkey.
