HC Deb 08 December 1993 vol 234 c262W
Mr. Alan W. Williams

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment how many representations his Department received on the consultation exercise on THORP before 4 October; how many of them were in favour of THORP going ahead and how many against; and if he will summarise the conclusions of the exercise.

Mr. Yeo

About 42,500 responses were received during the consultation exercise. They are still being assessed. Detailed information about the responses will be made available once they have all been considered.
