§ Mr. YeoGlobal atmospheric research is detailed in "Department of the Environment Global Atmosphere Research Programme 1992–93, Contract Information Schedules", copies of which have been placed in the Library. The research programme includes measurements of the vertical distribution of ozone, monitoring of a range of greenhouse gases, including a contribution to the international global atmospheric gases experiment, and modelling studies of greenhouse gas distribution. The work is carried out in collaboration with the atmospheric sciences programme of the Natural Environment Research Council and is aimed at improving the representation of greenhouse gases in climate models of the Department's climate prediction programme at the Hadley centre, Bracknell.
