§ Mrs. FyfeTo ask the Secretary of State for Scotland when the results of the survey of health service workers will be published; and if he will make it his policy to ensure that the state of morale among health service workers will be recorded in the published text.
§ Mr. Stewart[holding answer 3 December 1993]: The results of the survey of approximately 40,500 NHS staff in Scotland were published on 29 November 1993. The report "What Those who Work Within the NHS in Scotland Think 1993" addresses the issue of staff morale.
A copy of the report has been placed in the Libraries of the House.
