§ Mr. GummerThe Government car service currently has 25 pool cars and 27 pool drivers, which include back-up for Ministers' drivers. The annual cost of the GCS pool service is estimated at some £750,000, staff costs account for about 75 per cent. and vehicle costs about 15 per cent. of the total annual cost.
