§ Mr. YeoI am delighted to announce that my right hon. and learned Friend the Chancellor was able to announce on 30 November an extra £35 million per year for the home energy efficiency scheme. This will be targeted on pensioners and disabled people and will provide grants for more than 200,000 extra households per year throughout the United Kingdom, bringing the total number of households receiving grants to almost half a million a year.
