To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what representations he has received on an extension of the 15 May deadline for the return of details appertaining to the integrated administration and control system.

We have received a number of representations suggesting an extension of the 15 May deadline.

To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will make a statement on the integrated administration control scheme.

Mr. Gummer

The integrated administration and control system is an important and necessary measure to make sure that taxpayers' money is properly accounted for in every part of the Community.
