HC Deb 29 April 1993 vol 223 cc504-5W
Mr. Tipping

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will list by each fire service actual expenditure for 1992–93 against standard spending assessments 1992–93 and planned spending for 1993–94 against standard spending assessments 1993–94.

Mr. Peter Lloyd

Neither outturn expenditure for 1992–93 nor local authority service budgets for 1993–94 are yet available centrally. English authorities' latest budget estimates for fire and civil defence in 1992–93, and the fire and civil defence components of their standard spending assessments for that year, are given in the table.
