Whether the House of Lords Collection Trust has been registered as a charity.

The House of Lords Collection Trust was registered as a charity on 30th March 1993. The objects of the trust are the advancement, through the establishment and maintenance of a collection of works of art, books, manuscripts and other documents relating to or having a connection with the United Kingdom and its government or the House of Lords and its members, of the education of the public in its knowledge and understanding of the system of government, and of the constitutional and political history, of the United Kingdom and of the countries comprised in it, with particular reference to the historical and continuing role of the House of Lords and its members. The Trustees are the Leader of the House, the Chairman of Committees, the Chairman of the Advisory Panel on Works of Art, the Clerk of the Parliaments and the Clerk of the Records.
