To ask the Secretary of State for Wales how many cases of hepatitis and dysentery there have been in each year since 1987.

The numbers of notifications of viral hepatitis and dysentery in Wales in each year since 1987 are shown in the table:

Notes:

Viral hepatitis, which includes all forms of hepatitis, was notifiable as infective jaundice prior to 1989.
