§ Mr. StrawTo ask the Secretary of State for Health, pursuant to her answer of 11 January,Official Report, column 615, if she will list the full address of each site with 20 or more dwellings which are vacant.
§ Mr. SackvilleAnalysis of the December 1992 survey that covered some 75 per cent. of the national health172W service showed only one site with 20 or more vacant dwellings. All but four of those dwellings have since been put to use, and there is a waiting list for the four, which are being redecorated.
From the survey we estimate that across the national health service 1,800 dwellings are vacant. This figure, which excludes places in hostels for nurses and other staff, indicates an average of our four vacant dwellings for each health authority and trust.
