§ Dr. MawhinneyIn December 1991 the Health Departments issued "Guidelines on Clinical Management of Drug Misuse and Dependence" to all doctors, including general practitioners. The guidelines highlight the importance of the role of the non-specialist doctor in the treatment and care of drug misusers. A copy is available in the Library.
