§ Mr. EggarTax issues are a matter for the Chancellor of the Exchequer, but, to date, I have received around 50 separate representations, both written and oral, from companies, organisations and individuals in the oil and gas industry, mainly about the impact of the changes on exploration and appraisal activity and the future development of the North sea.
