§ Baroness Chalker of WallaseyThe Community has exclusive competence where that is conferred upon it by Treaty provision or measures taken under the Treaty. It is not possible to draw up an exhaustive theoretical list. Current examples include the Common Agricultural Policy, the Common Commercial Policy and the Common External Tariff.
