§ Mr. BurtThe latest available information is contained in the Income Support Statistics Annual Enquiry for May736W 1991. The total amount was £949 million for 411,000 customers. The average weekly amount for those receiving full mortgage interest was £46.34, and for those receiving half mortgage interest (to which payments are restricted during the first 16 weeks of the claim for customers under age 60) was £35.61.
