HC Deb 28 October 1992 vol 212 cc734-5W
Ms. Ruddock

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security if he will publish a table showing the value of child support for each child in a standard rate tax paying family, expressed in 1992–93 prices, for each year from 1962 to 1992–93.

Mr. Burt

The information requested is in the table. While child benefit helps all families with children, there is a comprehensive range of other social security benefits which can provide additional help for some families according to their circumstances.
