HC Deb 28 October 1992 vol 212 c695W
24. Mr. Dalyell

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what reconsideration he has given to the imposition of sanctions against Libya, and the issue of the origins of the Lockerbie crime.

Mr. Douglas Hogg

The United Nations Security Council reviewed the sanctions against Libya on 12 August, and agreed that there was no justification for lifting them. The Lockerbie investigation continues, but no evidence has come to light which would justify the issue of further warrants.
