§ Mr. MacleanContinuously operated sulphur dioxide, SO2, and smoke monitoring was carried out at 383 Stratford high street, Newham between 1963 and 1988. The data for the past eight years of operation are given. The data were discontinued thereafter because the values recorded were consistently well below the air quality limit values for SO, and smoke prescribed in EC directive 80/779/EEC.
