§ Mr. MacleanThe Government seek to promote the teaching of energy efficiency in primary and secondary schools through its involvement with CREATE—the Centre for Research, Education and Training in Energy —and is discussing with CREATE a number of new projects and improved funding arrangements.
As part of its "Helping the Earth Begins at Home" Campaign, the Government are developing an education strategy to encourage school children and teachers to understand the link between the efficient use of energy, CO2 emissions and global warming.
