§ Mr. Allan StewartThe Secretary of State meets the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities on a regular basis to discuss local government finance in Scotland. At the last three such meetings, the latest of which was held on 5 October, the subject of European-funded investment was discussed. The next meeting has yet to be arranged but it is likely to take place early in the new year.
