Ms. Quin

To ask the Secretary of State for Employment (1) what proportion of firms have complied with the quota for disabled people as laid down in the Disabled Persons (Employment) Act 1944, supplying figures for each year since 1979 and by size of firm;

(2) what proportion of firms have been issued with block exemptions under the Disabled Persons (Employment) Act 1944, supplying figures for every year since 1979 and giving figures by size of firm.
