HC Deb 19 October 1992 vol 212 c34W
Mr. Fraser

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what further representations have been made to the Government of China about the use of the death penalty in that country for offences other than murder.

Mr. Garel-Jones

We have made no specific representations on this point. The Chinese Government have been made aware repeatedly of the widespread concern in this country about human rights abuses of all kinds which occur in China.
