HC Deb 26 November 1992 vol 214 c788W
11. Rev. Ian Paisley

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will make a statement about the security situation in Northern Ireland.

14. Mr. Molyneaux

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will make a statement on the security situation in Northern Ireland.

Sir Patrick Mayhew

Since I answered a similar question on 29 October 1992 there have been 11 deaths as a result of the security situation in Northern Ireland, including nine civilians, one RUC officer and one soldier.

The Government continue to lend their full support to the security forces in their relentless efforts to bring those responsible for these heinous crimes to justice. To early November this year, 365 people have been charged with serious terrorist-type offences, including 94 with murder or attempted murder.
