§ Mrs. Virginia BottomleyAnnual capital guidelines of £122.5 million will be available for 1993–94, a real terms increase of 6.5 per cent. Supplementary credit approvals will again be available for mental illness—£10–5 million —information technology for community care—£10.2 million—and AIDS/HIV services—£3 million. In addition, local authorities will be able to use certain receipts from the sale of capital assets including additional receipts available because of the relaxation of the rules on the use of capital receipts announced by my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer on 12 November.
