§ Mr. MichaelTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will list all the organisations and individuals who have(a) responded to his invitation to be consulted or (b) submitted comments, suggestions or representations about the future structure and funding of police authorities in England and Wales.
§ Mr. David HuntThese matters are the responsibility of my right hon. and learned Friend the Home Secretary. Future arrangements for the police, following local government reorganisation in Wales, were, however the subject of advice submitted to the Welsh Consultative Council on Local Government by the Home Office and electoral issues sub-group. Copies of that advice are in the Library of the House.
