HC Deb 23 November 1992 vol 214 c504W
Mr. Viggers

To ask the Secretary of State for Health what is her Department's policy on support for the talking book services for the blind.

Mr. Yeo

Talking book services for visually impaired people are largely provided by voluntary organisations, although some social services departments may provide this service or assist a person to obtain it. Audio-cassettes are now available in many local authority libraries.
