§ Mr. Needham[holding answer 17 November 1992]: Applications for licences for temporary exports are considered on their merits. Licences for international exhibitions include legally binding conditions requiring the exporter at all times to retain sufficient control of the goods to ensure their safe return to the United Kingdom within a specified period.
