HC Deb 19 November 1992 vol 214 c328W
Mr. Mackinlay

To ask the Parliamentary Secretary, Lord Chancellor's Department if he will list those cases, or other tribunals, over which Lord Justice Scott is currently presiding or participating; and what cases are currently listed in which he is due to preside or participate.

Mr. John M. Taylor

Lord Justice Scott was sitting as a member of a three-judge Court of Appeal, hearing appeals in the ordinary course of the court's business which might concern a wide variety of subject matters. He is now devoting all of his time to the inquiry.

It is impossible to give any firm indication of the cases listed before the court of which he would have been a member, since cases are only provisionally listed until the availability of judges is known. It is often necessary to make changes at short notice to such lists.
