§ Mr. Gwilym JonesA grant of £27,000 has been awarded to the Cardiff institute of higher education under the Welsh Office's housing options Wales small grants scheme which will enable a fire risk and safety assessment project to be undertaken. The project aims to produce a model which can be used by public sector housing managers, in particular, to assist them in assessing the fire risks in dwellings and thus to target resources appropriately.
