§ Mr. AitkenUnited States legislation provides for the United Kingdom to conduct three nuclear tests at the Nevada test site between 1 July 1993 and 30 September 1996. It is not our practice to comment in detail on the purpose of individual tests, but all United Kingdom nuclear tests are designed to ensure the safety and credibility of our nuclear deterrent.
