§ Mr. Archie HamiltonA number of letters from hon. Members, fishermen's representatives and interested individuals have been received. The United States navy is conducting a full investigation into this incident. When its findings are available, I will consider whether there is any need for further measures to improve the safety of submarine operations in waters that are used by fishing vessels, in addition to those already discussed with the fishing industry.
