To ask the Secretary of State for Health what further representations she has had from organisations responsible for providing care in the community.

We regularly receive correspondence from organisations making representations about or seeking clarification of the details of our new community care arrangements.

'To ask the Secretary of Slate for Health what monitoring is being carried out by her Department of local arrangements for care in the community; and if she will make a statement.

Mr. Yeo

Community care implementation has been monitored by the social services inspectorate/regional health authorities at six monthly intervals in September 1991, April 1992 and September 1992. We have recently received a report on the latest round of monitoring.
