Number of reports received 1986 10 1987 11 1988 19 1989 9 1990 6 1991 138 For 1992, a total of 121 reports have been received up to 31 October. A significant proportion of the reports received since 1990 are historical cases where a suspected adverse reaction had occurred more than one year previously. These figures should be set in the context of in excess of 1 million dippings since 1985.
