Temazepam is currently controlled under schedule 4 to the Misuse of Drugs Regulations 1985. The Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs has recently considered the problem of temazepam misuse and has made recommendations by my right hon. and learned Friend the Home Secretary on measures to be taken to combat its misuse.
We are now considering the council's recommendations.
