§ Mr. EggarMy Department's press notices, along with those of other Departments, are already available to hon. Members on the day of release, through the Palace of Westminster's computerised parliamentary on-line information system—POLLS—which subscribes to the Central Office of Information's electronic news distribution system and receives all press notices released in this way within minutes of their origination. The POLIS system is available to all hon. Members either through the Library 63W or through hon. Member's own computers. In addition, the Library receives paper copies of all press releases distributed by the Central Office of Information on the day of release.
