§ Mr. MacleanThe Government intend to create environment agencies for England, Wales and Scotland at the earliest legislative opportunity, in line with our manifesto commitments. Meanwhile we have significantly strengthened existing environmental protection requirements, for example, through the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
