§ Mr. MacleanAn improvement notice under the Health and Safety at Work, etc. Act 1974 served on Ferro Alloys and Metals Ltd., Glossop, requires it to reduce the emission of sulphur dioxide to 113kg/hr from its smelting (roasting) process by 31 August 1992. The works have indicated orally that they intend to reduce throughput to comply with this notice.
