HL Deb 16 March 1992 vol 536 cc87-8WA
Lord Stoddart of Swindon

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will print and publish the Treaty of Rome as it is proposed to be amended by the Treaty on European Union prior to the introduction of a Bill to ratify that Treaty.

The Earl of Caithness

The Government have no plans to do so. The office for official publications of the European Communities will do so in due course. The Treaty on European Union, containing all the amendments to the Treaty of Rome, will be published as a Command Paper before any legislation is put before the House.
