§ Mr. MacleanOn behalf of the Agriculture and Health Ministers I have today issued for consultation to interested organisations a draft food safety and consumer protection programme setting out the Government's plans in this area in 1992. It applies the principles of information, consultation and accountability set out in the citizens charter published last year. I am sure the publication of this programme will be welcomed and I look forward to the response to it. I am placing a copy of the document in the Library of the House.
