§ Mr. MackinlayTo ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what representations he has received from non-Home Office police forces, or their officers' federations, about their inclusion within the scope of the inquiry into the role of the police officer that he has instigated.
§ Mr. Charles WardleThe chairman of the British Transport Police Federation and the Defence Police Federation and the Secretary of the United Kingdom Atomic Engery Authority Constabulary Federation have written to me to suggest that the forces whose members they represent should be included in the scope of the inquiry into police responsibilities and rewards.
