§ Mr. Charles WardleThe Police Complaints Authority has agreements under part IX of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 with six private police forces. These are:
- British Transport Police
- Ministry of Defence Police
- Port of Liverpool Police
- Port of Tilbury Police
- Royal Parks Constabulary
- United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority Constabulary
An exhaustive list of other bodies with powers to appoint a body of constables is not readily available, but agreements have been made with the Police Complaints Authority by all forces whose strengths exceed 100 officers.
