§ Sir John CopeThe United Kingdom's obligations under the missile technology control regime are included, with obligations under other non-proliferation regimes, in the restrictions imposed under the Export of Goods (Control) Order 1991. Exportation of some goods can contravene more than one of these regimes. Prosecutions are based on breaches of the Export of Goods Control Order and customs records do not therefore identify which underlying non-proliferation regime is concerned.
