§ Mr. NewtonThe corruption of the Members' staff computer payroll records for the month of May was a direct result of operator procedural error at a time of extreme pressure. It did not originate from a computer virus nor from unauthorised access to the computer system or records held in the Fees Office.
I am assured that all possible steps are being taken to prevent a repetition of the error.
