§ Mr. GoodladThe Government regard Bougainville as an integral part of Papua New Guinea and views the Bougainville problem as an internal matter of Papua New Guinea. We are not aware that the Papua New Guinea Government is seeking any help from foreign governments in connection with copper mining on its territory.
