§ Mr. NorrisThe percentage of Department of Transport staff registered as disabled at 1 June 1991 was 1.3 per cent.—185. The Department is aware of a further 188 staff who have indicated that they have disabilities but who have not registered. The Department aims to provide access to a full range of recruitment and career opportunities for all people with disabilities. The Department also follows the civil service code of practice on the employment of people with disabilities by, for example, supplying appropriate aids and equipment for staff with disabilities.
