14. Mr. Bowis

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what support British forces and military and civilian experts are giving to the United Nations peace-keeping operations in Cambodia.

Mr. Rifkind

As part of the United Nations Transition Authority in Cambodia, the United Kingdom is providing 38 military observers, 13 mine clearance training experts, including the overall command of the UNTAC mine clearance training unit, and up to seventy naval personnel.
