§ Mr. Kenneth CarlisleMotor vehicles for civilian use are registered by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency under the Vehicles (Excise) Act 1971. This does not extend to trailers. Military vehicles are registered by the Ministry of Defence. I am not aware of any exceptions applying to military vehicles in nuclear weapons convoys.
